    How can you not love this place!?! Great food, quick service during lunch. Wednesdays are a tough decision: chicken fried steak or chicken and dumplings? Always a tough call, but never a regret. Love coming here!

    The waiter was very friendly and helpful, it was packed but we didn't have to wait long to be seated. The coffee was good and everything we done well. It is a simple menu, nothing freaky on the menu, but what they do.... they do well. It is fairly priced and I will definitely be going back. I'm dreaming about the french toast already!

    This is my first time here, and I have to say I'm very pleased with the food and the speed of service. The server was also very friendly and attentive. The only change I would make is the coffee because it was a little weak for my taste. But all around, great food and great service. I'll be back soon for sure!

    Update- Be warned they do have a smoking section. ...... Great service, fantastic home cooking. Lunch and breakfast specials aren't to be missed. Old-school diner without the grease and cigarette smoke. Hash browns, corned beef hash and pancakes aren't to be missed. Gluten-free pancakes too. Definitely a Dallas jem!

    Great home cooked food and service!! I had the pot roast (Tuesday special) and the pot roast was kind of tough vs fork friendly but it was still ok. The sides were yummy and the chicken fried steak my friend had was delicious. I'm sure most stuff is good and I just got a bad roast. Portions were big and service was good. Forgot to take pics as we were hungry!!
